Rock Springs Behavioral Health
Kim and Lewis make weekly visits to the patients and staff at Rock Springs Behavioral Health Hospital in Georgetown, Texas, weather permitting. Staff members especially look forward to mini "de-stressing" time with Lewis. It isn't unusual to hear comments like "Mondays are so much better when Lewis is around" or "I look at things differently after being around him." Patients, too, benifit from visits, where they are able to pet, hug, and interact with the four-footed therapist.
Brookdale Georgetown
This Senior-Living Community is also on Kim and Lewis' list of regular visits. Many of the residents are in various stages of Alzheimer's Disease or Dementia, so they don't always remember our visits. However, we find that they often continue to feel happier even after their memories fade.
